The last 2 days in Korea, well thanks to the heaty food for the past 12 days I really fall sick during the last few days. Sore throat came and so is my overdue mense....
On the Day 13, the day hubby has been waiting for very very long. His real reason for visiting Korea is because of today. The chance to visit North Korea! We reach JSA very early a 6.45am to wait for qour bus to DMZ.
A south korea tour guide will brief us on the whole journey of the tour and bring us to the DMZ location. After that there will be a US army guide us through the DMZ, he will also tell us bits and pieces of the history between south & north korea. We were even need to sign a agreement before the whole trip really start.
At the border line, there's only 1 north korea soldier opposite.
Closer look of the one and only one North Korea soldier.
You can take photo with the south korea army, but you cannot step behind him...so you better behave.
Lunch are provided at the tour, it's like a canteen style. you need to collect your own potion of food from the pots.
There's a tunnel that we can view, the tunnel were made by the north korea. But it's very steep and deep down, it's pretty hard to walk down so not to mention making the way up. I tried walked down awhile and I was too tired as I wasn't feeling well too. So hubby told me to go back up and rest he went down himself. I was glad I didn't walk down as it was really very tiring to walk up! Didn't take photo of the tunnel as we are not allow to bring anything down not even handphone.
We then went to watch a short video and some photos before the end of the tour.
After the trip we went back to hotel, I was too sick and unwell. So we basically just rest for the remaining of the day at hotel. Lunch & dinner were all dabao back by hubby.
Last day in Korea, some last shopping at Dongdaemun. In front of Lotte Fitin Mall.
We then walk around that area then head to the next cafe, bear cafe.
The cashier is hide behind all the bears.
We then went to Naksan Park to see some wall art.
That sum up the whole trip for Korea, will we go back again? I think hardly will, as hubby still prefer Japan than Korea. But we both enjoyed the Jeju tour, as we self drive around the island. This is also the last trip in 2014. :D Looking forward to the next holiday! Shanghai~
