Last day at Beijing, we plan to make our way to airport around 1pm as our flight is 4.30pm. So we dabao Mac donald breakfast back to hotel to eat so that Mom have more time to prepare and wash up.
After breakfast we went for our last minute shopping at the street along our hotel. And have lunch at Ippudo, Ippudo in Beijing is so fun their menu has a lot more interesting food compared with Sg one.

Around 12plus we received a sms from SQ telling us that our flight is delayed till 7.50pm which is very late! Leaving us more time to rot at our hotel area. I even have to text my boss telling her that I'll need to apply urgent leave next day due to the flight delay.
But luckily that we still receive the sms and get ourselves prepared for it. Some people in the same flight didn't get the notice so they have to rot at airport for many hours.
So we check out later and continue walking around at the street at our hotel.
One of the place we went is the tea house to enjoy a pot of tea. A first time experience for mom & hubby.

After the tea we went back to hotel and get a cab to head down to airport. We went to airport earlier as we are afraid there's a jam. Beijing traffic jam can be very scary too.
After we reach airport and check in our luggage we were given meal voucher. Just nice we can have free dinner by SQ!

We then did some last minute shopping at the airport basically just buying the snacks and went up to the airplane. SQ even offer drinks and sandwiches at the gate counter we didn't take any of it. They didn't delay further and we depart on time.
Once we receive SG we were even give free gift from SQ.

We reach home quite late and we had a quick shower then goes to bed. It's a tiring trip but was still a fun one. Hopefully mom enjoys! Not sure when will our next trip together. Hope there will still be chance to bring our mommy oversea. :)
