One more week! Endure!

Finally holiday is coming! One more week to go! Endure! Holiday location? Will be traveling to Beijing with Hubby & my Mummy. It's going to be a short trip holiday. Stay tune to the updates of the trip! 

Happy Birthday!

This year Birthday is on a Saturday, have been thinking if I should do something that I really enjoyed. So happened that I found a workshop that is on my actual birthday day so bingo signed up. The workshop is a a cafe at Tanjong Pagar

Whole workshop is 3 and a half hour, I didn't quite enjoyed it as there were two girls sitting in front of me keep talking non-stop. It somehow irritated me as I couldn't really hear what the teacher is saying. I was so frustrated and wish I could change the seats. But I'm still happy that I learned some skill for calligraphy.

After workshop I meet hubby at Vivo for dinner, I selected the restaurant. Had our dinner at Jamie's Italian.

After dinner we had a drink at Starbucks then we went home. Hubby didn't buy present or flower for me so he gave me a ang bao...haha I can use that money buy something that I like. :)

Birthday Eve

Gotten a $50 cash from current company as a birthday gift. Decide to take the cash and have a good dinner with Hubby. Meet him at China town point and went Ding Tai Feng. Too hungry forgotten to take photo of the food. Haha there goes my birthday gift.

After dinner hubby wanted to buy me a cake, our usual practice to have a cake when clock strike 12am. Hubby wanted to get me a special cake, searched his google coffee break map and decide to go to a cafe. Unfortunately it was closed. Then we head down to neil road a shop that we never expect the cake to be that nice. Shop name is "Mad about Sucre".

Shop is nicely decorated, once we stepped in the shop hubby said "I think ppl come here for dessert not cake". Well I didn't want to walk around looking for another cake shop so let's take a look at the cakes selection first.

Once I stop in front of the counter, the service staff asked me if I am having it here or taking away. I mentioned to take away, he then asked how long will our journey be. It somehow impressed me, I have been to so many cafe to buy cakes but never did a service staff asked me so much question before. I'm happy to answer our journey is about 1hour, he then told us which are the cakes is suitable as he didn't want us to buy a cake back and it went out of shape reason being their cakes are all using natural ingredient. Ok I buy your story! So I settled with a chocolate cake, another service staff helped me to pack the cake and start explaining me to how to eat the cake. wow another plus point! He explained very detail as there's 2 ways to eat the cake, hot or cold. I'm indeed had a very pleasant purchasing experience.

Here's the cake, the cake is very nice too! I'm really very happy with the cake. I don't mind going back to the shop again for dinner & dessert. Haha perhaps on one of another special day with hubby. Loving my cake this year. Thank you hubby!

Birthday Dinner with the girls

Meet up with the girls for dinner is the usual plan we do on our birthdays. At first wanted to go for steamboat dinner but Anita coming with baby so decided to change location. Yyl booked Putian at ION, I didn't even know there's a Putian at ION. Haha

Food was ok. But I find it slightly too expensive, I still prefer eating at Crystal Jade. haha

We started the dinner without waiting for Anita cause was too hungry. When Anita came with boy, her boy gave us a very stunted look. He must be wondering who are all these Aunties. Very long never see him of cause he wouldn't know who are we. Guess the next meet up if see him again he will cry and wouldn't let us carry anymore....babies grow so fast.

After dinner we went to TCC for a drink and continue to chit chat. Our group photo that night at TCC and the birthday present the girls gave me is Putian's chili sauce. Hahaha Jamie said the chili sauce is very nice so Yyl, Jamie and me got 1 bottle each.

Hello June

Favourite month is here! I was actually very excited that this month is finally here, even started to plan all the events and gathering that I have been looking forward to. I like to see schedule to be super packed. 

As we entered the 2nd week of June, I am super emotional! Things wasn't smooth as I hoped. Work doesn't seems to be what I think is perfect for me. Although I have already gotten the confirmation I just couldn't see my future here. Already tried very hard not to complain to hubby and trying to keep calm at work. Trying very hard to adjust my thinking and telling myself it's not the worst as compare with previous job. But is this really what I want? Avoiding, ignoring, just telling myself to move on. Wouldn't it be the same as my previous job? Just do and start losing myself again. Dilemma.........I know I complain too much in life, I know there are more people out there who is jobless or having more serious problem in their life too. But everyone have their rights to fight for happiness right? 

It has been a very emotional week, too much thinking in my head. No answer to it. Half year gone just like this and nothing much I have achieved. Nothing seems to be on right track. Doesn't know what to write on. Shall end the post with a painting I have done to welcome June. But somehow I doesn't feel happy about it anymore...
