End of November!

Time pass so fast November has ended so soon. I wanted this year to end really soon as I kinda have lots of unhappiness this year end. I have a few more post to update but I seems to be getting a little lazy lately~ Maybe becos there's lot of things that I need to do for the big day as days getting nearer. But hope I'll keep it going and update this blog as much as I can. :)

11-11-11 wedding of the year

Congrats to Bob & Phoebe! It's really a wedding of the year because it's on 11-11-11 :) Phoebe is my ex-colleague, and we were all so happy for her! Bob is also hubby's ex-colleague so both of us were invited to the wedding. :)

It is also a gathering for many of us as quite a few ex-colleague attended and some of them we hardly meet up. So good to see them around. Some photo of the night...

Everything is lovely that night and it came better when Hubby's ex-colleague proposed to his girlfriend at the wedding hall! Heard from Hubby that the couple has been dating very long and the girl has been saying for quite long that she is ready to get married but the guy have not propose yet. So it all happened at her least expected. She is so shock & happy. Which make us feel happy for them too. Congrats to Joanna!

Busy short holiday

Hubby took leave on Tue 8 Nov to accompany me, we decided to go and have the Ng Ah Sio Bak Kut Teh. We wanted to go there long ago but the last round we went it didn't open for dinner time. So we finally made the time that day for our lunch! It's crowded there but we only waited for about 5mins and we gotten our seat. It's a different style of Bak Kut Teh not the clear soup base but the dark soya sauce base. Not bad but I still prefer the Balestier one.

After that we went to China Town to buy some of our 过大礼 items. After done with the purchase we went over to vivo city for some shopping before our movie for the night.

We had our dinner at Vivo City then proceed with the movie of the night~Phantom of the Opera. Phantom of the Opera in cinema is still not as good as watching it "Live". But still it is a very new experience.

Who are the true friend?

This question has been in my mind for this few days due to some reason, I am emotional as usual maybe. But recent things have make me wonder the people that is around you are they really putting on a mask or are they truthful to you? Who are really those that love you and treasure you as their friend and really treasure the friendship?

There has been lots of unhappiness in my current working environment so when I'm off work I didn't want to face people that are not truthful. My current life, the biggest pillar support is my hubby now but at times I will need my girlfriends support. Their friendship is the one that I treasure becos you know they are true to you. But suddenly I felt lost due to some thing happened and I am kinda disappointment with the outcome. Somehow things isn't how I think it should be, for so many years of friendship I thought it is stronger than anyone I have know this recent years. But actually it might be not be this case.....the true friendship doesn't really depend on how long you have known that person or what you have been through with them or what you have done or care for them.

Am I becoming a person that doesn't trust anyone beside myself or I'm just being naive as there's no true friendship around me all this while actually? I'm just a upset woman I guess....

1st Spa Experience in Singapore

Yes! I have been waiting for today to come for very long as I really needed a body massage badly!!! My backache problem has been killing me recently, all these while I have very bad backache problem. Plus recently with the painting job & busy duty at work my back is really getting more & more painful.

So happened that day I have been going through those deals website and saw this deal $50 for 90 min Healing Massage + Detox Wrap + Steam Therapy @ The Ultimate Wellness Haven in Orchard (Worth $299.60). It sound really so attractive that I decided to give it a try. I didn't dare to try this kind of service because I dislike the hard sell sale girl asking you to sign the packages although I didn't experience those horrible one that refuse to let you go if you don't sign...I don't wish to experience that too. But I am really dying for a body massage so I gave it a dare, brought the coupon and made a reservation.

I am having my off day today so I booked an appointment for the massage. This is the very first time I have massage in Singapore and this place looks grand. They serve me with the welcome drink but I didn't get the chance to take it the sale person approach me and brief me on the massage that I am going to have later. She then ask me which option do I want my massage, in the end I took the 60mins Healing massage with the Herbs which she say it's a better choice as the Wrap & steam therapy will be messy and many customer don't really like it. Then I went to the ladies before I start the massage, they bring me to my room and the room is very small with a bed and a small shower place. Again I though I will be able to take a shower after the massage but the therapist say it will be better to leave the oil on my body for a few hours so told me not to shower.... I wonder if it is true. haha Anyway the massage is good I really feel that my upper body has loosen a lot, the therapist pointed that my upper back is very bad but it's better now and advise me to have more massage often. I also know! But your massage package is so EX!!! hahaha

After the massage they also serve me dessert, hahaha give you some 甜头 first then later kotok you! The sale staff will not let you go so easily one~ after quite a long sale talk she still did not manage to get the sale from me...hahaha I saw her diamond ring on her hand is so big I think she have enough commission liao lah so I didn't sign any package..hahaha And as usual since she can't get any meat from me, her face turn really fast and walk off. Well done! I took my last few mouth of the dessert and left liao.

It was a good experience, I think I will consider to get another deal for spa massage in the future when my body is giving me red lights. If not I still prefer to have massage at batam or bintan, much cheaper and less stressful (sales talk).

New Blog header

Have been wanting to change the blog header for quite some time as I want to add some new photos that I have taken. I just spend a bit of my time tonight to do a quick change I think it can still be better but I shall update first as I want to see some changes. All the photo about that you see are from my own photo album, pictures that was taken by me or other people take for us lah...hehe Maybe in the later stage of the year I'll change again as a new year is going to start soon. Let's make a new start!
