Iness & Eliss Birthday Party

Can't imagine the kids grow up so fast! Iness is already 9 years old and Elis is already 4 years old. Time really pass so fast within out knowing, I really miss those time they were still a baby in my arms.

Well birthday party is held at home same as past years, Iness friends were invited. A entertainer is also engaged to "waste" the kids energy, haha.

Mommy's birthday!

Birthday mommy requested to have something special for her birthday, we always bring her eat chinese food, buffet, japanese. So this time round we had something Korea! Yes a very nice Korea BBQ indeed!

I ask for something traditional and BBQ, meimei suggested this place since it's somewhere near their place too.

Look at the wide range of side dish we were given! Wow a table full of sides.

The making of the new 陈府

Wow when was the last time I post on the update of home and decor to our house? Finally we had something new in our house after half a year staying here almost got too lazy to do anything to it.

Well shall keep on improving the house home & decor as it will make it one of a kind. 

So what have we done? I invited my family members to my house for a gathering, quite last minutes but glad that they all managed to come! Didn't take any photo that day as I was busy entertaining the guests. Hope they enjoyed the small gathering and thank you for all the angbao and gifts given. 

Just in time for the gathering hubby and me went to ikea and got all the remaining furnitures we wanted for the study room. Finally build up the cosy corner I wanted all these time.

Our toys finally have they place to be displayed no longer in the boxes. And I can enjoy a tea with my story books on my osim chair now with some music. Loving it!

Catz Birthday

The day before my birthday I wasn't feeling very well, we didn't plan anything exciting on my birthday. Since hubby already spend quite a lot of money on our last weekend staycation. Hubby brought me a small rainbow cake the night before.

We then went to city hall, as I wanted to the cakes at Lady M. Wanted to try it very long but the queue is always the turn off part. Since it's a weekday afternoon shouldn't be crowded right? :D

Lady M® Green Tea Mille Crêpes

This is really yummy! I love this very much, very light with the taste of green tea. Some people doesn't like strong green tea taste this is just nice! You don't get sick of the cake you can totally finish the whole piece. Strongly recommended!

  

Flourless Chocolate Cake

Yes as stated it's flourless~ so it's just chocolate? Haha hubby ordered this, I didn't quite like it as it really doesn't taste like a cake... hehe anyway it's still quite nice not too sweet. 

After all the brunch and afternoon cake we were too full to have our dinner outside so we decided to head home as I wasn't full recovered from my sickness. And my dinner was maggie mee at home hahaha but I'm still a happy girl as hubby brought me to so many places I wanted to go. 

Birthday weekend staycation

Hubby specially arranged a weekend 1 night staycation at local hotel, he knows that I like to have a weekend staycation in local hotel. Reason being there's a lot of nice boutique hotel in Singapore and it gives a holiday feeling even you are in Singapore.

This time round hubby decided to book Quincy hotel as the 1 night stay seems like a very nice package deal. The hotel provide a very well planned schedule for the hotel guest. You check in hotel you can enjoy their afternoon tea & pastry or go for a afternoon swim. Then you can have a art jamming session then follow by dinner and free cocktail. In the night there's also movie at pool side, the hotel also give you a complimentary bottle of wine. 

All seems very nice but my bad experience starts when all the necessary terms & conditions as well as details were not provided straight front to me when we check in.

After we check in we lazy in our room till it was time for the afternoon art jamming, which we though we do not need book for it as it's not stated in their website, confirmation email or mentioned when we check in. Only when we went down to the location the staff then told us we need to book for the session. Which is so disappointing to us, I went down to lobby to complain and they only let us into the next day cup cake baking. So in the end we had our afternoon tea break at the lobby.

We went for the movie beside the pool but the movie wasn't very nice so we went back to our room to watch drama from my laptop. The next morning we had our breakfast at hotel.

We then have our lunch at hotel which is also complimentary and I finally got to try the rainbow cake!

After the cupcake baking we check out and went home. Overall it's a good concept for the hotel and the hotel actually give a lot of complimentary stuff but too bad it was not told to the guest properly. Happy staycation!

Meeting up with Twins~birthday celebration

Well we don't always meet up but we will always try to make time to meet up to celebrate our birthday on our birthday month. We met 2 times recently and enjoyed ourselves catching up. Happy moments always pass fast, we had dinner, shopping and coffee break or dessert break.

Enjoying your time with someone close is always the best thing to do.

Month of June!

Yeah it's June! June is a happy month because it's my birthday month! June is also a spending month when I will tend to spend more! It can be quite scary!

Well it's time to change my specs, this year I have a hard time getting one. Wanted to go to the usual optical shop at Toa Payoh, but realise the shop are all new girls....means no extra discount. The frames are more expensive too, so I decided to try out the new optical from Japan.

My 1st experience with them, was impressed by how fast it can make your spec ready within half an hour. You no longer need to wait for 2 weeks for your spec. Well, I'm sure the lens are not as good as the traditional optical shop are selling but then if I can get 2 different design of spec at the price of 1 why not? I'm sure going to visit them again real soon, thinking of getting a sunglasses or another pair of spec. Heez I'm happy with the current new spec!

Next favourite purchases recently, accessories! Lots of necklaces!
