Good Bye 2016!

Without knowing another yet have passed. This year is quite a special one, it taught me that many things in life you can't plan. You need to follow the flow and see what you will get in the end. Lots of unexpected things happened in my life in 2016. It taught me a lot of things. 

2016, I never expected I will be able to find a job in a childcare center. When I was still schooling I remember I ever think of entering childcare as my career. I was happy that I am given a chance this year to work in a childcare. I have always enjoyed working in a child setting environment, I will always feel happy when I look at the happy children faces. But also due to some reason I have to leave the company. But I am happy with this experience in the center as I got to know there's really passionate teachers around and we need to appreciate them. Some really wanted to enter teaching career because it's their childhood dream. Wow hummm my childhood dream career was policewoman....hahahaha guess I'll never be able to make my dream comes true. 

2016, I went for 2 holiday trip. One with my mom to Beijing, been years I didn't travel with mom. Finally be able to plan one and fully paid by us. Being able to bring her out has been one of my checklist in life. 2nd trip is a impromptu trip to HK with Twins. 2016 for her might be tough but I hope to let her see that there's people who love her and to treasure life. Life is really full of things you never expect it will happened but it happened, things you might not be able to control. We really have to learn how to let go things at times, and live with a happy heart. 

2016, is a sad year as well. As my mother-in-law has passed away, till today I still feel shock she is no longer here. I sometimes will think of her and tears will fall. Life is so unpredictable, you never know what will happened next. I can still clearly remember that day when I rush down to police station hopping all these isn't true hopping the photo I saw wasn't her. We couldn't turn back time, but she is truly deeply missed. Thank you mother, we will be good and please do not need to worried about us anymore. 

2016, glad that I still get in contact with the promotion team. I sometimes will miss the time we have together eating snake, having breakfast at canteen, gossiping & complaining about bosses at B2. But at least we still keep in touch as friends now, we also meet up often to gossips. 

2016, managed to catch Mayday concert. Been waited many years finally they are back on stage in SG. I also keep up with my hobby of cafe hopping, this year we even went to JB for cafe hopping. I also picked up a new hobby which is watercolor painting. 

2016 have been a teaching year. I learn a lot of new things and how I see my life. I thanks 2016! Goodbye 2016!

Yet another farewell

Yes I resigned again, hahaha. After my long service in the department store I managed to found another job quite quickly, that many of the people around me couldn't believe it. It was actually my first interview, and I felt very grateful that I got the job. 

When I graduate from my ITE I actually ever thought of going to childcare as a teacher, but at that time the salary of a childcare teacher was really very low. Plus you need to have the qualification. And I was given a chance in my 1st job so I forgotten that thought. 

Now I must say it was a job that fits my needs, to be in the childcare as an admin. I enjoyed many of my days at the center, people there was nice, children there was so lovely. But due to my personal reason I have to leave the job now and stay home for awhile. It's a pity I couldn't stay there longer, although I complain quite a bit of my job too. Well who wouldn't complain about their job? I will really miss my babies at the center. Many of the teachers were shocked with my decision but wishes me well. I'm really thankful with this opportunity to work there. I have also learn quite a lot of new things. I would never be able to learn more in life if I would to stay on in my 1st job. I never regret leaving although I missed some of the "comfort zone" benefits I get there. 

Life is really full of things for us to explore, I have learn to not stay in my old self and explore what other stuff in life can make a better me. 

I would like to say thank you to all the teachers they have taught me a lot of things. 

We had a dinner quite sometime back I didn't have the time to post this. Had an enjoyable night, they were still trying to change my mind to go back and work. :P It feels good to be appreciated in your work. But for now I'll have to say goodbye, if there's chance I hope to work with them again. 

PS: They made a farewell gift for me, the hand prints of PN's babies. Simple and yet I LOVE IT! Now it's placed in my living room as a art piece. I miss the babies. ;(

Halloween 2016

So happened to found out there's a Halloween event at ACM so I told Hubby & LH to go for the Halloween party that night.

Didn't expect it was so crowded at the ACM, we went in a little late after our dinner. There's a lot of station where they have different activities for everyone. Even some popular ones like Halloween makeover was long queue we decided to queue for it. It was actually quite fun at the event, they have quite a lot of staff with zombie makeover walking around. The staff will not come and disturb or scare you they will just walk past you and also allow you to take photo with them. 

They have these very cute DIY paper toy and I took 2 set home to color them. Simply love it. I think this event was really fun and I look forward to their event. I'll definitely make time for this. :)

Stay caution 2016

Hubby wanted to give me a short getaway but didn't know where to go. So we decided to have a stay caution again. I suggested Wangz hotel so we booked 7 Oct 2016. It's the children's day so I'm not working again, hubby took AL also. :)

We went for a brunch before we go to hotel to check in. Brunch location is the Brunches Cafe that we shortlisted. Nice decorated cafe, food is so so only.

We manage to check in slightly earlier. Hotel was quite small, didn't have a swimming pool as well, which I didn't realise it when we book the hotel. Well no choice loh we just stay inside the room and nua.

We went out for coffee break then a early dinner at Tiong Bahru area which is very near to hotel. Hotel offers us a free drink we went up to their roof top bar and gotten a beer.

Our stay comes with morning breakfast, so we had the hotel breakfast the next day.

After check out we had lunch at Tiong Bahru market then we to purchase some item that we need to pray for mother-in-law before we head home.

Back dated 1 day JB tour 2 Sept

There's gonna be a lot of back dated post, didn't realize I stopped writing for so many months. 

So here's the first back dated post. 

It was a Teacher's day so I don't need to work, hubby took AL as well and we decided to travel to JB for a day out. Hubby find brunch location that is easy for us to go from City Square. 

I quite like this cafe, food is good for the price and cafe looks clean and nice. We will plan for more JB trip for brunch, there's a lot of new cafe in JB recently totally worth the trip to travel there and give it a try. :)
