Bye 2014!

Wow without knowing it's the end of the year again!? How have my 2014 been? I would say it's still a enjoying year for me.

Have 2 holiday planned this year, 1st one with my family to Bangkok. Been years we went for trip with whole family. This time round Meimei's boyfriend joined us too, better chance to get to know him better. Overall the trip was fun with lots of shopping. 2nd holiday is a long waited Korea! It's was a suddenly decision to go Korea as hubby didn't quite like Korea all this while. I feel really excited over this trip as it's a long holiday and many people around me keep going Korea....I want to go Korea too! The whole trip was fun, 1st time in our life hubby self drive in oversea. Was worried for him as he don't drive in Singapore now in Jeju? It was a challenge for him and he did well. It was indeed an experience for the both of us, thanks to hubby's hard work in planning the holiday. He did all the research, schedule, budgeting everything. Big thank you to hubby! Can't wait for the next holiday in 2015 which is in planning.

Relationship, hubby and I is still the same lao fu lao qi. We will still try harder and see if we can get a baby in 2015 but I still think let god decide. People around us will give pressure, I do get stressed up at times over this issue. But I personally do think that this stuff doesn't mean you want you will get it. At times I do think and scare that I will not be a good mother, it's a huge responsibility and if I can manage as a working mom. All this thinking give me stress, and it gets depress at times when I know my health is not good and perfect to get pregnant. Hoping my health will be better in 2015 in order to get pregnant.

At work, busy period was in 2013 so 2014 slow down a little. There were unhappiness in work of cause. Hopefully such things don't happened again next year, work will be more challenging next year but I think I have to stay low. Hope that the team work can be better at works but I really doubt it is possible.

Family members are all very healthy, sil is pregnant hubby is going to have a nephew. Hopefully with more family members adding in we can have more meet ups with mil & sil. I still hoping to have more times for my mom, hope I can bring her for a short holiday next year. Also to bring mil out for a holiday too, it's not going to be easy to plan but hope it will come true.

Wishing good health for all love ones for 2015! Wish me good luck for 2015!

Counting down to holiday

Counting down 26 days more to our holiday!

From new blog

Before holiday there's still a lot of stuff to do, like purchasing travel insurance, purchasing the travel necessities..etc This time round hubby is going to self drive in Jeju, so he needs to get his international driving permit. It's the 1st time he plan to drive oversea, I am kind of worried but he is confident it's fine so I agreed.

Gotten the permit, and the process was pretty fast.

Can't wait for the long holiday to come faster!

Cousin's wedding

But still feel happy for them, as well as meeting the long time no see cousins. Every time I meet them I missed the days when we were kids.

The lovely couple...

Eventful 30 Aug 2014

This Saturday is really a eventful one, first thing is hubby & me wake up early in the morning at 7am to go for a run at Punggol waterway. This is the 1st time we go running after we moved in for almost 1 year. Couldn't believe that we really made it to wake up so early as we usually only wake up around 11am on weekend.

I'm glad we made it, as I quite enjoy the view and the run. It's make me feels refreshing after the run and I hope we can make it a habit to go for a run here since it's only one LRT stop from our home.

The nice view don't you agree?

That area is also building the new safra, heard it's gonna be quite big but guess it's going to be crowded too...

After the run hubby & I went for breakfast at the near by coffee shop then dabao our lunch home. After a shower and lunch we took a short nap then I went out for my make up workshop by make up store.

My 1st time attending make up workshop didn't know what they teach, but after attending it I find it quite informative too. Just that the person teaching english wasn't very good, but she is still confident in talking in front of people.

She teach us the whole process of removing make up and the basic skincare that you should need to use to keep your skin clean. Of cause they will sell their products but they didn't hard sell them to you. Then she move on to teach the make up with their product. After which we didn't our make up ourself and they will help out if you face problem. Many of the students wasn't use to do make up with so many make up brush same goes to me, I only can recognise some of the brush are for what usage the others I tend to mix up.

The workshop is only $50 and fully redeemable for their products which means it's free to attend the workshop. They also arranged some biscuits and mineral water for us. After the workshop I redeemed the $50 with the CC cream and also purchased their concealer which I find it not bad when I was using it to do my make up during the workshop.

Overall fun and relaxing workshop, whole workshop last about 2 and half hour actually as Sis & me completed our make up quite fast.

After the workshop I meet up with hubby and we went for dinner at 313 then we went to the Singapore Night Festival. Our 1st time attending the event, we kinda of felt lost when we reach there around 6.30pm. Maybe we were to early and many activities actually only starts at 7pm. Luckily there was a brochure to show the time table and what are the programs for the night.
From new blog

I told hubby there's a free airbrush tattoo by make up forever, so we look through the brochure to find the location. Manage to find it's at peranakan musuem so we went there first. Luckily we were there early as I guess it will be crowded in the later of the night.
From new blog
We had fun getting our airbrush tattoo done, really like it very much. Isn't it nice?

After we were done with the peranakan musuem, we then walk over to the national musuem to catch a show. The place was already quite crowded, people were seated at the grass and standing around the stage area.

The performance was great but the place is too crowded and hot so we didn't watch finish the performance and we left the place. It was really a eventful day to end the month of Aug 2014! Sep & Oct will be busy month but hope it's going to be fun too!

Orchid Extravaganza @ Garden by the bay

Got tickets to visit the Garden by the bay again, and just in time they are having the orchid extravaganza display at flower dome. Decided to visit during the evening time as I didn't want to meet the crowd and the hot sun.

We reach there 6plus it was still quite crowded, also didn't realise that the flower dome is so dark during the night time. The place is then lighted up by very little lights, so it's quite difficult to take nice photo of the flowers.
From new blog

There's quite a lot of people and all wanted to take photo of the flowers so there was a long queue as well. The place is full of the smell of orchid, very pleasant smell makes people feels refreshing.
From new blog

Of cause not to forget to take a selfie before leaving the flower dome.

I then visited the cloud forest before leaving garden by the bay, the cloud dome is kind of scary when it's at night. The place is very dark almost close to not much lightings, and I'm a person that doesn't like to stay in a dark place. So I only run one round and got out of the cloud forest.

Very refreshing experience to garden by the bay.

We spend quite a lot of time just to queue for food, some queue are just too long that we need to wait around 15mins.

That's the queue for the hotdog which is not the longest.
From blog
The hotdog is made of candy and gummy which is the most surprising food that I ate that night. It look so real like a hotdog but it's not, you really have to taste it to believe it's candy!

We also get to see a lot of display made by chocolate or other confectionery!

National Day gathering

National Day is on a Saturday, Hubby arranged movie together with Lay Heng then followed by dinner with Muji & wife. We watched Guardian of Galaxy that afternoon, didn't expect it to be that nice I enjoyed the movie very much.

Dinner we planned to had the Korea new restaurant at Bugis Junction. After movie we reach there quite early so decided to go and queue first before the crowd comes in.
From blog
Our 1st time coming here luckily Muji & wife is here as wife is a korean. They decide what to have for everyone and we don't need to think. It was really a headache how to order when we 1st see the menu, hahaha totally lost.

The 1st stage you need to fried all the meat & vegetable first....
From blog

Once it's cooked you can start eating the meat & vegetable, till you at least finish left one third potion then you add in the rice & cheese.... remember to keep some meat so that you still have meat to go with the rice.
From blog

Basically the staff will help you through the cooking, you don't need to do anything just eat. Restaurant is thoughtful they provide everyone a apron so that the food oil or sauce or anything will not dirty your clothes just in case. There's also free flow of ice water for you, we order their Korea barley tea which they serve it hot. According to Muji in Korea they have it cold which should be better...anyway quite nice and new in Singapore. During dinner time I think you need to queue for 1 hour, as we reach there very early we only waited less than 20mins. Happy Food!

We then go for some coffee, wanted to go Lola's cafe but it was too crowded and we need to wait for 55mins for a table. So we went to another place Ice Edge for dessert.... only waited less than 10mins.
From blog

Ice cream are not bad we even tried the Mao Shan Wang Lava Cake with Mao Shan Wang Ice cream which is something interesting.
Enjoyed the weekend so much with great company! Hoping for more!
