Christmas mood always comes early at office, this year we gotten Sesame Street characters! Love their songs & dance, cute characters too. Bring out the childhood memories!

Well there must be some Christmas mood at home too! And YES I finally can have a Christmas tree at home! I don't want a big standing tree just want a not too small and yet not too big on on the TV console. This is so that it's easy to keep in the storeroom after Christmas.

The making of the new 陈府

Some furniture add on to Mother-in-law's room, she wanted a small TV console from Ikea. Hubby went to purchase it during one of the weekend. We shifted our old mirror to Mother-in-law's room, she wanted a mirror and our mirror only used for one year in Ubi. She don't mind taking over the mirror so now it's in her room.

We shifted our old book shelve from Ubi for our rest & relax room, it's kind of turning yellowish for the top after a year. So I decided to give it a new look with some stickers.

After the new look it looks like this. This will be hubby's side table in the future but currently it's holding some of our stuff and the TV.

More deco for new house

Yes added more decoration for the house!

I like all different types of wall stickers, so before moving in I already brought a few wall sticker that I find on line. Finally decided the location to paste them. Cute! :)

Hubby want to have some plant in the house, those small and easy to manage. I want to get some to place it inside the toilet. Manage to get a super cute pot from taobao! In a shape of a cat! Gotten a plant and put it in place! Currently it's at the living room not at the toilet yet.

Well there will be more to work on for the whole house. Dec we will work on our rest & relax room after we get more stuff from Ikea. Hope to get all stuff in place before CNY comes. This year CNY is on the last day of Jan which is very soon! Time pass so fast!

My cooking diary

When I'm sick at home usually soupy food suits me well, if I got the energy I'll cook my own lunch or dinner.

This is one of my favourite! Miso soup macaroni.

My Cooking Diary

As mentioned many of our weekends dinner are cooked by me. So I try as simple dish as possible, steam food is usually the best dish for me. Steam only ma how difficult can it be right?

After I have purchased the thermal pot I start to cook soup as well. I'm happy with the purchase it really helps a lot and the soup taste ok to me.

Of cause there's more room for improvement but I'm still happy with what I'm cooking!

Favourite & Dislike activities in new house

Shifted into new house for closed to 3 weeks, staying into our new house there are many duties we need to do. Cleaning the house is the major part of the duties, many couple will fight over each person's duty. So far hubby & I will just do whatever we think it's time to clean. Cooking is still my job hubby do the washing.

So the most dislike activities of cause is cleaning the floor, it's so tiring after cleaning. But the flooring is very easily dirty so have to mop every week at least 2 times. But with our working schedule we can only do it on weekends.

The Favourite activities for me? Enjoy the massage on my Osim chair together with the Buddha Radio playing. 20mins of massage then fall asleep for 10mins. BEST!

Other than that staying in new house most weekend I'll cook for dinner, because there's not much food court or kopi shop around our place. So cooking is the best choice so far, which I have to keep looking for recipe as well.

Staying in new house feels good there's still a lot to do adjustment. More post will be coming about new house adjustment. Stay tune.

Mother-in-law's mattress and bed frame is delivered. There are more stuff she required we have yet to go ikea and get her console table. Guess will have to wait a while more.

1st guest dinner!

Layheng need to pass hubby some stuff so came over new house and had dinner with us too. So I decided to cook a proper dinner for the 3 of us!

Used my new thermal pot and cooked the ABC soup, 1st time using it and 1st time cook tat soup. I must say it taste so good!!! 

I also cooked a fish which is something tat I don't dare to try yet. Hubby loves it! 

Of cos there are more improvements need to be made but I am still happy with what I have cooked! :)

Officially moved into the new 陈府

Yes finally we are officially moved into the new 陈府! Kind of a last minute thing, we basically shifted in all our stuff into the new house within one and a half day. Why did I say it's kind of last min? Because Hubby's Uncle moved over to mother-in-law house and he offer to loan his car to shift our stuff to new house. Since got car we decided to shift all our remaining stuff to new house.

After shifted it we also got to pack the stuff into the proper place, it was in deed very tiring!

Other than moving & packing, we also managed to add in decorative stuff to our house! This is still the part I like most actually.

The 1st decor item is the cushion that I brought from Taobao! Love it!

Also I added some smaller display items the living room... the swan is one of my lucky draw prize I got from my company D&D. Luckily the color theme match my new house so I decided to place it at the living room.

Attend Chris Didi's wedding

Looking forward to this wedding as it's at the Crown plaza hotel at Changi Airport, can dress up again.

Went over to sis's place to do my nails, that's my pretty sweet nails.
