The making of the new 陈府

Went back to new house on 31 Aug to see if they have completed all the stuff we have mentioned. Still there are some stuff not done, but they have cleaned the floor. Which means I have to clean the floor again loh.... wasn't very happy with some stuff and have a little argument with my ID.

Anyway the house should be done by next week, some of our furniture will be delivered over next week end. 

So far what was done? Living room is 90% done

The making of the new 陈府

Arranged to meet the curtain uncle at new house on 29 Aug after work, I was super tired after the course. Luckily uncle offer to send us back to ubi so happy. Finally settled the curtain, I was so worried it can't be settle before the stuff is shifted in. Heng Uncle say recently not much job think it's becos of the 7th month ghost festival. Uncle is taking business slowly, he wants to enjoy his life as now he did a lot of volunteer job too. Wonder if I can still be like him at his age.....

Anyway back to our new house, most of the stuff are done. We are finally seeing the end soon, but progress of the last few stuff is still very slow. 

What was done when we where there on 29 Aug? The toilet stuff are all installed.

Office happening

This year there has been lots of stuff happening in office, lots of unhappiness. Luckily our promotion team is still doing well, luckily I had a very good talk with the working partner. Well after the course I tend to understand how I should be communicating with colleagues. Of cos hopefully I can really use what I have learned. 

Just last week a new marketing girl joined, just only within one week she seems to be able to see the problem of the marketing manager. Well she also has been struggling to leave or to stay. In the end I think she has chosen to leave, as we saw her talking to the division manager last Friday. We all thought the last one that left 2 weeks after started work was the fastest record now this one even break the record! I wonder how will the management think and arrange. Personally I think all the arrangement that was done the last 2 weeks are just waste of time. 

So now it's back to square one~

On course ~ 27 Aug & 28 Aug 2013

Company have planned a 2 days course for every full time staff in the company, everyone has to attend base on schedule. Had heard some feedback from colleagues that have went last few weeks. Finally it was my turn to attend this week...

Was told to report at 8.30am on the first day, I reached Tanjong Pagar very early but I lost my way. Only manage to reach around 8.35am but heng I'm not the last one. The course is actually quite fun but the negative point is it's too tiring. The first day they only let us have to lunch at 1.45pm I nearly fainted and gotten gastric after that. In between there were break time as well as fun activities that keep going. 1st day ended with a assignment that each team have to come out with a dish. So no choice we have to go shopping for ingredient after the class ends at 5.30pm. 

Our team photo on the first day of class, luckily I still know 2 group member. One of them is my food department manager which I have to work with him sometimes. The other one is a cashier staff from Sports Department, know her because of the packers duty during X'mas. So I wasn't that bored over the 2 days.

Went NTUC to purchase the ingredients. In the end I can only go home at 6.30pm, OT leh!!!

2nd day we need to present our dish and I was in-charge of the power point slides, I prepare the slide till 12am the day before. I was damn tired although our team didn't win anything but I think we did well.

Hubby called Lay heng over to Ubi for dinner, I decided to do steamboat brought lots of food to prepare for tonight's dinner. Although is using instant soup base, but it's yummy! Happy food!

Last weekend went over new house nothing was done, kind of disappointed so I was worried to see the same situation this weekend. Crystal asked me if I will be going to new house this weekend so we went over to her house first as Hubby want to see her place too. Her little girl Xuan nearly cry when see hubby coming into her house as usual she is scare of all Man....haha

We went over to new house with Xuan, as many Chinese believe new house need to bring small kids there if they cry mean the new house is not "clean". Heng ah Xuan never cry she even have a very fun time at our new place!

All the lightings are up, think they just need a few more days to touch up and they can hand the unit back to us. So happy we can finally see most of our stuffs at the actual place! Can't wait to start decorating the place up! 

Gathering day ~ 17 Aug 2013

2 gathering on a day, 1st meet up the girls at TPY and we took cab down to Clementi to Anita's place. Planned to have steamboat lunch at Anita's place, her hubby is out of town so only the girls. We had a great time chit chat, had lots of food, wine, tea, snacks etc.

We left about 6pm then I head to Royal park hotel for dinner with family! Mommy treat us dinner, saw there's crabs buffet at the hotel. We eat almost all the crabs! I find it so so only but still happy with the food and company of everyone! Didn't take a lot of photo cause our hands are dirty. :P

National Day out

It a long weekend holiday this week, Thur hubby and I went to Expo at first wanted to purchase fan from gain city. In the end we only brought some household stuff from Metro expo sale. Then we went to Ikea to get some stuff, very tiring day lots of walking.

Yesterday is National Day, we meet LH to go Tampines Safra for swimming. We went lunch together at their favourite duck rice, super yummy!

After lunch LH has got nice intro food, he call it durian water. It's actually Durian Smoothies, it's located very near Temasek poly. At first thinking durian water sounds yucky, but I believe LH recommendation so I gave it a try.

Last minutes LDC can meet us also, he came with whole family. BLX is so cute, finally meet her after so long. We played 2 rounds of bowling, so long never play liao heng my score still not too bad.

After 2 rounds of bowling LDC left so the 3 of us went swimming, so long we never swim! Feels great after the swimming! After swimming we went Tampines Mall for dinner, Ramen is our favourite food.

Finally went to the Ramen shop that Hubby went with LH a few times, every time they go without me...the ramen shop offer free flow of hard boil egg and bean sprouts. Bean sprouts taste very nice, I ate a lot. I like to eat hard boil egg too so I ate 2! Without eating the egg yolk so it's ok to take 2! :P
