Parts of my June

June is usually a fun month for me as it's my birthday month so I usually plan outings & activities for myself to reward myself this month. But somehow this month you see lesser post from me as I was really busy with work & new house. But then there are still outings & fun stuff going on during this month.

Attended a friend's wedding the day after my birthday, she is my primary & secondary school friend. So she invited both primary school & secondary school mates to her wedding. It becomes a 2 school gathering for me, I'll have to go both table to do a bit of chit chat. Well only primary school table did a group photo taking as the secondary school friends some are the Jie Mei that night so they are always running around. Enjoyed myself that night with some nice friends company although didn't take many photos but it's a happy event. Always like to attend wedding as it gives a very happy & love feeling.

Recently also found a book to read! The Revenge wear prada! This is the return of the Devil wear prada, the 1st book was introduced by my ex-colleague and really enjoyed reading that book. So happy it came out with the 2nd one after so long. Hopefully I can find more time to read this as I am busy with work & new house....

Then almost every week we will meet up with my ID for discussion on the renovation, it was very nice of him too as he treated us many food & drinks when we meet up with him. Some times we will also treat him back, but this particular drink I must mention. As it's the drink he treated me before we see our final quotation, well I didn't get very shock after seeing the quote. I still drink the drink with a smile! Can't wait for the new house to be done, but we got to get use to a new place again....

Then most of my weekends are fun as we will go out to find stuff for our new house so we tend to walk a lot and here are some fun stuff we saw.

This weekend we met Layheng for dessert too and went to some new place we haven't been to. Thank you Layheng for the nice intro.

Birthday Celebration

It's my birthday again! Well getting older and older what's there to expect more for birthday? Just wishing good health and smooth life again is the only thing I wish for. Of cause spending more time with my love ones is also very important.

Didn't celebrate my birthday with Twin but also wishes her happy birthday on FB and wishes her all the very best in everything she wish for and good health!

My birthday celebrate is done very simple, as we are budgeted this year. Hubby and I decided to go JB on my birthday. Went in around 10am plus and the traffic is consider quite smooth. We had lunch first at Canton -i, Hubby wanted to try this so badly. Well I think food is so so only but for the price we paid ok lah.

We also went to the event area at City Square, the doraemon event! It's so fun at the event and I brought a cute doraemon to accompany us for the JB trip.

We had a movie at City Square after that, we watched Man of Steel. Pretty ok. After which we went for some shopping and went KSL for more shopping. Had the dessert at KSL too!

Mayday Concert

Long waited concert! Lucky the concert is not as disappointing as last year, but the concert layout is the same as last year. Heng we decided to sit at the staircase area, else we will be like sandwich.

The concert has a element of surprise, everyone was given a Mayday's light stick. And that was the best light stick I have ever have! The light changes color with the music and everyone's light stick is controlled by Mayday! It's damn cool and I like it very much!

I enjoyed very much but still think it's a pity that most of the songs are chinese & only 1 song is Hokkien. And the songs are mostly slow music songs but still very nice.

Guess it's going to be another 1 year wait for their next concert!

Fun time at work

Currently our event space is having toy fair, took a photo by Monster University photo booth. Very fun!

House preparation

We have been doing our shopping & research this few week while our unit is doing the touch up of the defects. We settled our air-cons, fridge, washing machine, bed etc....last week met our ID and make quite a few more changes to the design. 

We also met up with hubby's friend and they wanted to view our unit. We had our lunch at a very nice restaurant...

After lunch we went to hubby's friends house to see his place then went back to our unit. There's a lot of other stuff we need to do...more updates will come later.
