8 May - Collection of our new house key!

After the long wait of 3 years, finally the house is here! We finally got the chance to step into our unit!!!! We couldn't be more excited, I took half day leave plus some time off and meet Hubby & Mother-in-law at Toa Payoh for the collection of the keys. It took us awhile to finish everything as there's really a lot of paper to sign just to collect the keys.

After the key is collected we head straight to our new house!

Of cause we did some traditional stuff like throwing the pineapple into the house to pray for good luck in our new house. Pray the 4 corners of all rooms as well. We did it very simple as we don't believe much of all those stuff but no matter what it's still a place we gonna stay for years can't play play also right?

That weekend we went back to our new house again to check defects, it was really hard work as it was hot & tiring. Now the unit is doing the final touch up by the HDB contractors for the defects we submitted. We had also done a lot of shopping for our new house stuff, so tiring as we need to go a lot of places during the weekend. It is as thought I work 7days straight for weeks....we have been meeting our ID every weekend nowadays to update on the designs & stuff.

I have a very talkative ID, so every time we meet him must spend a few hours also very tiring loh...haha but he is a nice person. Always treat us food went we meet him....really hope everything can be done soon... So excited & stress at the same time. Wish me luck!

Our total damage for the trip...
