This year gotten 4 tickets, went with Jamie & her cousin. Total 4 of us reach there around 5pm already very crowded.
This year goodies bag is not nice, round in shape and it's a backpack. Stuff inside also wasn't very good, the torchlight is not nice very small unlike last year it can be use as a table light. I don't like this year's goodies bag. :(
With the first disappointment, we are still excited to watch the NDP preview show. Us at waiting for the show to start.
Every year I go NDP rehearsal or preview I'll look for cute kids and take a photo of their natural moment of watching NDP. Only the kids' natural excited looks give me the memories of how I will feel happy singing the National Day's songs. Schooling days that we have to sing all the National Day's song on the National Day celebration day. I like all those old songs that we use to sing, like "Five stars are rising", "One People One Nation", "Stand up for Singapore", "Count on me Singapore". Talking about the song "Count on me Singapore" there's a joke of the day, a chinese (I wonder if he is from China) ask my friend this question "Count on me in chinese is what?" My silly hubby said "算我...." I was like = ='''' What the hell! Seriously till now I still don't really know what's the correct answer but this question really gave me a shock when the Chinese asked. Cos it really doesn't come to my mind that someone actually don't understand this sentence.
Anyway back to the kids' photo, so this year I had a hard time finding the correct moment and correct kid as my main photo. Was looking high and low for a cute kid, but later than I realise there is just a cute little girl sitting a few seats away from me on my left. And I had a hard time before I can get a right moment of her. Love this photo.
