Some rewarding gift for Hubby

While I'm doing the usual shopping during the GSS, I did not forget about hubby. I don't just shop for the ladies apparel I will also walk into the male section and see if I can find nice & good deals for hubby. If I spotted nice & cute t-shirt I'll of cause buy it for him, of cos I must make sure that the price of the t-shirt is reasonable else he will question and eventually feels unhappy if I buy him expensive stuff. Well that is my hubby...hehehe So I am always very careful with the stuff I buy for him as I know he discourage spending money lah. :P

Today I found a really cute t-shirt! Like it and it's cheap only $11.90 after discount. Hope he will like it....PS: he haven't see the t-shirt yet while I'm writing this post. :)

Day back to work

MC 2 days, today went back to work. It's a tiring day for me as we still need to go to the NDP Sponsors night. Talking about the event, a new colleague somehow irritated me before the event. As her "best friend" in office rejected the invitation to the event, her reason was that she has lots of work to clear. This new colleague start to keep nagging her "best friend" to join as if she don't come along she will DIE going with the other colleagues. Now seriously, why can't you just reject the invitation and GO HOME lah and stop being a kid that needs a "best friend" to be around?

I really can't understand this girl but she really making people feel irritated. Really wonder why people can live in her own world.

Anyway aside from this the event is quite fun lah, a few of us stay throughout the event. Not to mention that the new colleague ran off shortly after our manager make his move. We also can't wait for her to leave, lol...

We had some drink and see the fashion show, even won a pair of tickets to the Singapore Flyers in the lucky draw. Also saw the school kids doing the rehearsal as well, so poor thing after school liao must come and do rehearsal.

So fast it's going to be National Day soon, no doubt I guess hubby wants to attend the NDP rehearsal again this year. Wonder why he likes to watch it so much... haha

Looking at the schedule

I'm sick at home so there's nothing much I can do at home, other than watching dramas....so I decided to note down all the important dates I have on hands. There's a few invitation that I have not note down on my hp.

As I note down I realise it's going to be an event month for Sept, of cos the latest update is I'm going to Aaron's concert which is on 8 Sept. Hubby & I is also going to Legoland on 22 Sept and attending Clarence's wedding on 30 Sept. It's sure going to very eventful but it's also going to a busy month for my work during this period. So gods know how I'm going to handle but well it has always been the case that Sept is a crazy month.

But no matter what I love eventful month :)

Long waited concert! Aaron's concert in Singapore

I have been missing the concert a few times, usually I brought Mayday's concert tickets liao so I don't have additional budget for Aaron's concert anymore. I always blame if they can release Aaron's concert tickets first I'll sure save more money for both concerts.

Well well, lovely hubby know that I really wish to go to Aaron's concert so this time round he is sponsoring me the tickets! So this time round I'm going with my sister, both of us can't wait to go!

I'm definitely very excited over it and really can't wait! Sure going to start playing his song when I'm free so that I can recap all his songs and sing along in the concert. :)

Another appointment is made with the photographer, we meet at Vivo's Ben & Jerry.

We start with some casual shoot at Ben & Jerry. After a few shoot the photographer decided to change location to the supermarket at Giant. Photographer then suggested us to do something I guess both of us will never ever do in our whole life, we were told to sit inside the trolley. It was so embarrassing as some other aunties were looking and think we were crazy but as there's a photographer around so some of them know we are doing some shoot but not sure why are we doing the shoot.

Anyway it was a fun shoot day, guess the photos will be ready for collection in other 2 weeks time. After that I shall then share the photos here. :)

The real birthday celebration

Early in the morning saw lots of birthday greetings on FB felt so happy & warm to see all the wishes. Hubby planned going Harry Potter exhibition in the afternoon then afternoon tea then dinner.

Was excited over the Harry Potter exhibition but we wasn't allow to take any photo it turn out to be boring... but we saw all the costume worn in the Harry Potter show

Family Day Trip to USS Sun 17 Jun 2012

We planned for the family trip to USS to celebrate Mom's & my birthday. So happened that day is also a Father's Day...so you can imagine how crowded it is at USS.

Birthday Spa Treat 16 Jun 2012

Brought the spa treatment from Deal, really worth it only cost $50 per pax with massage & body scrub.

Set off at 11am as our appointment is at 12pm, on the way on cab...Me with my new hair style.

After the treatment was done we were so hungry so we went over to Changi City Point Mall for our super late breakfast cum lunch. Saw this restaurant introduction from a magazine and told Hubby I want to give it a try. As per expected it is so so only not as good as the one we had at Mandarin Gallery. But still it's a good try!

Birthday celebration at office

Did our celebration at office on Tue 12 Jun, since everyone is around and I will take leave on Fri 15 June. Just a simple cut cake as usual, have been celebrating birthday with Mei Yi for 2 years every year she ask for mango cake haha so as her wish we had mango cake loh. :)

BEERFEST ASIA 2012

Hubby is the one that ask if I am interested in this event, I was surprise as he is definitely not a beer drinker. Of cause I say YES since he is the one paying for the entrance tickets heehee. Entrance fee isn't cheap, it cost us $40 per pax and it only comes with 1 free drink.

That morning Hubby was sick, down with flu & fever. Still thought he wouldn't want to go anymore then I can go with a girlfriend and maybe get hook by some ang mo...hahaha no lah just kidding. He was so excited over going to the event and insist he want to go.

We went to MBS first for our dinner then walk over to the event place. As expected it was really crowded with ang mo and there's lots of beer stores. Got a little blur and confuse to which store should we start with, so we walk one round to hunt for our first free beer.

The event space is quite big and yet the place is damn crowded. As we go around we decide some of the beer that we want to try. Took some photos along the way as well.

A photo a day challenge

A few friends are getting onto this challenge, think it will be fun so I decided to join in the fun. I didn't really read the rules properly this morning and I only decide to start today so I got it a bit mess up. So I decided to just do it my way, I'll upload 1 photo a day but the theme can be selected from the list given. Half a year gone...

What have you done for the first half year? Have you achieved what you have planned?

For me it has been a very eventful first half year this year. Firstly we have gotten our wedding dinner done, which was a stressful event for hubby. I am still consider glad that I didn't have too much of a problem with all the plannings, just that some times I will get myself worried over handling with in-law issues. Overall it has been quite a enjoying moment for me and I am pleased with everything that was done up for that day.

We also went to my dream honeymoon country for our honeymoon in Mar, which was really a very enjoyable trip. I see a lot of things and learn a lot of stuff on the trip. The world is so big out there and there's actually more that we should see. I find the trip worth it although we actually spent almost $15K for this 2 weeks trip. A very unbelievable amount and till now I couldn't believe that we actually manage to save that sum of money. Well I kept saying it's only just going to be once in a lifetime, it's either we do it now or never. I still never regret spending so much for the holiday, it's really worth it.

I am also getting use to the days staying in the new family, in the new home. With hubby giving lots of helps to make me feel as comfortable as I can in my little world (room).

Manage to change a brand new look for myself, which many friends mentioned it looks fine on me.

First half is so far so good for me, hope the 2nd half will be better! Same goes to you!

Birthday Shoot with Twins

We have been talking in doing the shoot since long ago....but it's either I am busy or we got no extra budget for it. Finally after talking so much over years, I owe her one...we did it today. Booked the photographer long ago and we only manage to plan what we going to do last week. After some discussion with photographer we fixed the location at Colbar.

I went to do my nails last Wed taking some time off from work. Cut my hair on Thur as well.

Meet up at 8am and started our photo shoot. Only half way through at outdoor, the sky turns grey and it started to rain. Head back to Colbar to continue for some other indoor shot. But didn't manage to clear the total 2 hours, so we fix another day with her again for the other 1 hour. Good thing is that we get to shoot at another location, we also get to have another look for our outfits. Bad thing is that we will have to wait long till we get our Birthday Shoot photo. But I see it in a good way lah.... :D

Damage of the GSS

As it step into June, it is usually the most dangerous period. It's the birthday month where all the places that I am a member has discounts or special points and what so ever. It's also the period of Great Singapore Sale....Usually I am really scare to see my credit card bill for that month as it will really create a big hole in my pocket.

But I will always says "Things I brought are on discount which is a good thing as I didn't buy it during the non-sales period. The savings I got is more important right?" Yup that's all my excuses to make myself feels better. And now that I'm married spending is very much in control by hubby! Everyday coming home with a big shopping bag will make him nagging me the whole night asking why I brought a bag again? Why? Why? Why? I need to be really carefully in hiding the goodies and stuffs so that he will not spot it so fast.

So what's my shopping bags holding for this GSS?

First it's goods from Body shop, all thanks to Crystal who has friends working in Body shop and entitled her 50% off straight all goods. So what's more to say but to stock up all the needs and wants list? Great deals!

Another purchase was supported by hubby, as I am very into my art & crafts I have been eyeing on all those scrapbook stuff for some time already. I told him that I want to do another photo frame for our wedding day just like the one we have for our ROM. So he said go ahead and he support me with the idea in terms of supporting some budget in purchasing the scrapbook materials. So Paper Market was on sale, brought quite a number of stuffs. Not only that I also brought lots of stickers from Daiso. I also used some materials to do something for a birthday shoot with Grace. I also did some DIY scrapbook materials which I think it's easy it helps to save some cost as it's really expensive if I buy those stuff at scrapbook shops.
