Last min Tour to JB ~ Sat 19 May 2012

Last min we decided to go JB on Saturday, our schedule was a little late so we didn't manage to visit JB premium outlet. We just have a rest and relax eating & shopping trip at JB. City Square is having a major renovation, lots of the stores are closed. Can say it's almost 70% of it is closed, maybe that's the reason why there isn't much shoppers that Saturday.

1st stop Old Town White Coffee at City Square, heng it is still open as I am craving for the Ipoh Hor Fan that is half the price as Singapore! Yes it's really damn cheap or I should say in Singapore it is over price? hahahaha

After that we went to purchase our movie tickets, wasn't expecting to watch any movie but since we are there and there's lot of time so we brought the "Dark Shadows". Didn't expect it to be very nice only 2 popcorn.

Like the food there, overall is quite nice. Had a very fun day at JB today but we can't do this too often as well if not then there's nothing new to us liao. We can only travel to JB once in a while, it's sure a fun day! ^_^

Jun's Wedding ~ Sun 13 May 2012

Kind of excited to attend the wedding, as after my wedding this is the first wedding I am attending. Well before my wedding the feeling of attending other's wedding is to gain more experience and see how other's people arrange their wedding's stuff. But now that my wedding is over the feeling of attending the wedding is different! I will recall back bits & parts of my wedding day and smile, it was fun.

New dish~ Catz cook

Have been falling in love with my new brought miso paste, so have also wanting to try using it to cook macaroni. This afternoon finally got the chance to cook it for lunch although I took some time doing it and in the end it was a late lunch. Hubby didn't quite like the macaroni that I used, so the next time I'll get the other brand that he might like. There is still room for improvements but still it was a happy meal today. :)

Korean BBQ Night with colleagues!

We planned for outings quite a while, manage to decide on a date last Thu 10 May for a Korean BBQ dinner! First time eating Korean BBQ buffet dinner didn't know how different it will be to our normal BBQ. Colleagues say it's a highly recommended restaurant and very long queue, since we can't make any reservation some of us took time off and go to queue early. But who knows, that we are only allow to take our seats unless all are present. So we went for happy hour! 4 ladies beer time and some ladies' chit chat, it was fun.

When it's time we meet the rest and went up for our BBQ! It really wasn't what we all expected! There's no air-cons and only some big fans the place is like a oven! Meat was nice but the environment there really don't allow us to eat long. Only ate 1 hour and we decided to leave and find other place for chill out. Korean BBQ is really all meat BBQ, not much other selection so you get to feel sick of it after awhile. So this is Korean BBQ~...

Scary incident at home~

A scary incident happened yesterday at home, it let me realize how each and everyone has different lifestyle. It let me appreciate how my mom has been such a good housewife well also because she is a full time housewife lah. It makes me wonder if I am also a full time housewife will I be like my mother? Hard to say as I am also a very lazy & messy person.

I am those kind that only does cleaning when I super cannot tahan, but now it makes me wonder what is each person 底线 to tahan the messy place. How come some people can make the 底线 so low till I think it can't be accepted?

Of cause the situation at home is still not the worst I have ever see or hear lah~ But it sometimes makes me feel frustrated over all the cleaning that needs to be done and the daily habit that each of us can just take note to solve the problems.

Well I can't expect people to change over night or change because of me, but staying together under one roof really needs to give and take. So I shall be the one that makes the changes bits by bits to ease my frustration. Which means a lot of hard work to be done and I wouldn't be able to be the lazy worm resting at home on weekends...Being a woman is so poor thing, being a wife is so not easy.

Back to work after a 4 days rest at home, this morning have a bit of mood to dress up myself to go back to work. So first day back to work for the week I am in my new little black dress with the new black prada bag! Love my looks today, everything in black & gold simple and very me~ Will look even better with a little black heels but too bad my leg can't wear any heels for some time....Here a photo of myself today ^_^ sorry for the low resolution because I was using my hp.

Off day Afternoon Tea Session

Have a sudden craving for afternoon tea today, we have rot at home for a few days liao as I wasn't feeling quite well. So I searched online to find some new place near our home so that I don't need to walk too much and so lucky that I still managed to find Cup Cakes with Love! Went and have our afternoon tea, the cup cakes there suit our taste as it's not too sweet with all those icing on top. We pretty like the cup cakes, the staff say they serve good coffee too but I didn't want a coffee today so I took a pot of tea to share. It's quite a good place for friends to chit chat, I guess we will come back again some other times. :) Nice found.

Steamboat Gathering @ Dawn's place!

A really sudden idea when we were having our ice cream break in office, called Dawn for appointment and tada the day we finally get the chance to eat Dawn's house special steamboat! Super yummy loh! So paiseh to go up and just eat steamboat so we brought her the nespresso coffee supply for at least a month for her. Crystal bring little Si Xuan along, the little girl is the center of attraction now. hahaha super cute. The day pass so fast with us just chit chat and eat, leave her place at 6plus. Guess the next gathering will be at Crystal's new house in dec. I'm so going to miss Dawn's steamboat! hahaha

Mother's Day Dinner with Mother-in-law

Last Friday night went to ION Paradise Dynasty for dinner with Mother-in-law, super long queue and we waited about 30 mins to get our table. But they serve the food quite fast at least we don't need to wait very long for food. Overall the food is nice but I think it's too expensive and not really worth the money. The different favor xiao long bao is not bad something new to us. It's the first time we eat here but maybe I will not return again. hahaha

Side track a bit, hubby & me went to watch the latest hit movie "The Avengers". It has been a movie everyone has been waiting for, hubby couldn't wait to watch it on the very first day. So we pre-booked our movie tickets on the 30 Apr mid-night show. I can't really remember when was my last time I watched mid-night show but I am very excited over it. As expected the movie is good, I love the way they have written Ironman. He is still so handsome! Well not to mention the super well build Captain American & Thor. The only unfamiliar one is Hulk, as we didn't watch any of his movie.

Anyway, so now everyone is talking about The Avengers not to mention everywhere is selling it's merchandise too. So just happened that on Labour Day hubby & I went to NEX for our dinner, there's a huge event going by Isetan. Then my eye drop on to the cute figuring of the Marvel Heroes & DC comics Heroes. Of course many people brought the "The Avengers" four characters back home. I decided to have 1 cute hero back home...but I couldn't decide which to get then. The only cute & nicely done for the "The Avengers" character was Captain American but I not really a fan of his. I like Ironman but the figuring wasn't really that nice. So my heart went back to my childhood hero "Superman". Since I was a kid when I watched Superman, I fall in love with him. He was such a super hero, he can fly, he is strong, he is handsome, he was the man....Every woman's heart has one super hero that she is in love with, mine is Superman. So presenting my cute SUPERMAN...

Then on Wed, I decided to go for a check up for my leg at Toa Payoh Polyclinic. After the talk to doctor, he decided to refer me to the hospital for better advise. So after the appointment was made I went for some shopping. Went Bugis then I found another cute stuff that reminds me of my childhood...the cute pacman's ghost and the cute mario's mushroom...for this photo that I took for the 2, I had a story in mind...when the ghost meet the mushroom...they fall in love....so romantic! hahahaha
