The remaining 3 days of leave I did quite a lot of things, 21 Jun I have a meet up with Meifong for dinner. In the morning I wake up and went for some jogging, but I only manage to run for a while it started to show sign of raining. After the running I did a bit of cleaning of my room then I watch some drama before I get myself ready to go out.

Meet her at bugis and have a simple dinner and chit chatting. Enjoyed the girl gossip session and that's the end of the day.

22 Jun, I went for running again that day and I had a major cleaning of my room packed quite a lot of staff that are brand new and I don't really need it. Usually are gifts from christmas over the years or stuff that I gotten but in the end I realise it's not suitable for me. I pack aside these stuff to be donated to the Salvation Army. I also throw a lot of rubbish during this cleaning too. After the cleaning I then get myself ready for going to Sis's place for Steamboat session for celebration of Mom's birthday. Enjoyed the catch up with my family and the great food! haha

23 Jun, last day of my leave day. I did a 45min yoga at home then I eat my lunch. After lunch I decided to bring the bag of things that I pack for donation to Salvation Army. Hubby told me it's kinda difficult to find the donation box place. Manage to find a easy way using my iphone, I on the goggle map direction and follow it closely. Well I make my hubby 大跌眼镜 I manage to find the place myself!

I placed the stuffs into the donation box and left. I guess I'll be coming back soon with another 2 bags of stuff for donation. This box is located at 20 Bishan Street 22, so if you have something that is still in good condition and still can be use and you don't need it anymore you can bring it here to donate.

After which I have a tea break at Bishan Toast Box!

It's difficult to find someone that share the same birthday and yet born in the same year as you. Not only that we become close friends too. So we will always make time for each other that month to celebrate together. We meet at Vivo for lunch at KimGary, and have a great time chit chatting.

Sat 18 Jun 2011 MY BIRTHDAY!

MY BIRTHDAY! Can't believe that I'm already 30 years old already! Happy that I can finally change my IC as the current IC photo is my primary six photo I look damn silly and ugly then. hahaha Now of cos I'm a beauty liao lah haha thick skin right? Well time pass so fast that I wonder what have I done for the past 30 years? I guess I have been very lucky there wasn't too much big wave in the past 3o years, everything was still under the control. And the next 30 years my wish is to have every love ones to be healthy and stay with me.

As to how I celebrate my birthday this year? I wanted to keep it simple, so we didn't plan any holiday trip as I didn't want to travel out this year. We wanted to try wild honey at Mandarin Hotel but it was super long queue that day. So we went to Jones the Grocer for breakfast! We enjoyed very much with the breakfast that was served.

After the breakfast we then went to Sunshine Plaza to purchase my birthday present! So happy that hubby brought me a lovely Holga camera! It's damn cute lo!!!! I love it so much.

After purchasing the camera we went to Marina Square wanted to catch a movie but there isn't any good time slot because we need to go to the dinner place that we reserve at 6.30pm. So in the end we went home for a short rest before dinner. The dinner was selected by me, I got a deal voucher at $30 at this restaurant but we can eat up to $60 worth of food. So indeed it's a good deal.

17 Jun 2011 My Leave break starts!

The long wait break is finally here! I have been looking forward to this break as I can totally enjoy time just for myself and do whatever I want to do. I also have been waiting for days that I don't need to bother about my Handphone and worried if I miss any calls from office.

So for the start of my break, I must enjoy the day as a "Taitai"! Wake up in the morning and I start my day with doing nothing much, go online watch drama. After lunch I continue doing nothing haha then I went out for a high tea at Orchard Road.

My "Taitai" look that I set ready for my high tea! Wanted to try TWG but it's crowded and not really the type of high tea that I am looking for. So went to Wisma's Coffee Star, it looks not bad but I was kinda disappointed with their tea & cakes. Firstly many cakes are not available, then the tea is not nice as well.

I waited Hubby to off work then we went out for dinner at Gallery Hotel. Enjoyed our night with a drink there! What a "Taitai" day! I hope I can have more times like this!

My Birthday Week! Eat like a hungry ghost!

Just like the title of the post I eat like a hungry ghost this week. Lunch time I will go out lunch with my colleagues and places that we went are not budgeted lunch hahaha. But I really enjoyed myself with this good food once a while!

3 More working days!

Counting down to my long break from work! 3 more working days and I'll be 1 week away from work. Has been waiting for this so long, been really tired over work. 1 week away I really need to plan how to spend it, but 1st duty will have to clean up and pack up my room. It's to get my room ready for my big day! Guess it's going to take a few days, will also have to get someone to check and repair our air-cons!

I also have a idea of putting a few days off from my cellphone! Which means I will not be contactable for a few days, will not pick up any calls, will not check out my facebook, will not sms anyone as well. So for that few days from 9am - 7pm I will switch my hp off. I hope I can do this as the last few times I try I fail to do so haha.

Other than that I am still planning some "own time" session, meaning I will have some time off to some place to do what I like and will feel relax and enjoy.

Can't wait!

Days when Mama is not at home~

It's the 2nd week that Mama is not at home and I'm left alone with my brother. She went over to my sis's place to look after Eliss & maid while my sis is oversea enjoying her holiday.

So how is my days when Mama is not around? Especially a weekend today, I wake up at 8am and start doing the laundry. Wash up some cloths then as usual it RAIN! I can't believe it, every time I wash the cloths it rains as it I am being cursed.

While doing the laundry, I started cleaning the living room and mop the floor. After everything is done it's already 10am, I took a shower and wake hubby up. Then boil water for the day to drink and make our breakfast.

Just a morning and I think I already use up the whole day energy ...hahaha so I shall rest and relax for the rest of the day! :D

Injured Cat~

As what the titled said yes I am a injured Cat now~ yesterday at work I lost my balance while I stand up from my seat and got my ankle sprain and now it is swollen. It's so painful that every step I walk it is painful.

I guess many chinese will say that you will need to go to those chinese 医师 but I will NEVER! It's so painful already and you still need to endure the pain as the 医师 rub your leg with the medical oil. Everyone will say that it will recover faster after seeing the 医师. Anyway, I will not pay for suffering. haha So as usual I will go to western doctor to check, as doctor said I did not injure my bones only swollen. So he gave me some medicine to reduce the swollen, he advise me to lift my leg higher with some pillows and use ice cube to put on the swollen leg. Guess many chinese will say it's a no to use ice cube to put on the swollen leg, haha so that's really a very different concept and thinking. I will still believe not doing much to the leg so that it will recover by itself, hope it will recover soon at least before my birthday please.

5th June 2011 ~ Decong & San San's Wedding Part 2

Sorry that my previous post was so long and I didn't talk about the wedding. haha now let's talk about the wedding lunch....This is another singing session wedding lunch....the couple love singing so the whole wedding is full of singing session. Some singing by the friends of Decong & San San...lots of singing by the couple. But the wedding was a little disorganize...there were many delays here and there. I guess if I am the bride I will go crazy...as I am a event planner lots of events that I planned I expect smooth procedure and always must be well prepared. haha I can't stand myself sometimes on my character...anyway the wedding is a little different.

After the wedding Hubby bring me to the bridal suite as he was holding one of the key so that any brothers or sister need to go up he can bring them. I got to see how the bridal suite looks like and it's not bad! At least better than I expected....and I start to wonder how will mine bridal suite looks like...hmmmmm some photos I took when there isn't anyone in the room haha...

5th June 2011 ~ Decong & San San's Wedding Part 1

Decong is my hubby's best friend from his kids days, hubby is one of the brothers for his wedding. Today is really a very interesting day for me, even till now I can't forget what actually happened and keep pondering me. I think I must record what happened today as I somehow do not wish that I will behave this way once again.

Hubby went to stay over night at Decong's place yesterday, so I have to get myself prepared for the wedding and travel to the hotel myself. It's a lunch wedding, so I got up early to get myself prepared. Didn't expect that it actually rain today, and it caught me off guide....I totally didn't realise that it will be hard to get a cab during raining days...even calling cab is also mission impossible.

So I depend on my luck and decided to stand in the rain by the road side to hope that there will be a cab....but never did I expect after standing in the rain for almost 15mins luck is not on my side...no cab~ Most not expected was a mini bus stopped in front of me the door open and the uncle driver shouted "Miss, where do you want to go?". I got shock but I still replied that I'm heading China Town Furama Hotel. The driver then offered to give me a ride to Furama....I guess this was the craziest thing that I did was I actually hop onto the mini bus....Once I got onto the bus I got a bit scared and wonder what should I do...I wanted to sms Hubby what have I done and ask what should I do. But after second thought if I sms him, he will straight away called me and start to be very worried and will ask me to alight the bus...By then I'll not know what should I do...I decided to on my GPS and see if the driver is heading the right route towards china town. Indeed he is driving me towards that direction, in the journey the driver keep talking to me. He mentioned his family members and how he believe that he need to treat people good then his son will be well as his son is sick...at that moment I think that maybe he is a good person, but in my heart I am still worried that he is up to no good.

In the end I did went to Furama Hotel safe & sound and I told Hubby & frens what just happened. All of them were shocked why in the earth I hop onto the mini bus as it is really very dangerous. I start to ask I really didn't think much during that time, I think somehow in my heart I do think that 人性本善...I start to ask maybe the uncle is really a 好人做好事 but why will we just treat and think that he is up to no good? I ask my hubby actually what went wrong? In first intension everyone will think that uncle is a bad person so I shouldn't hop onto the bus but nobody will believe or think that he is just 好人做好事. Hubby think that it's the society in singapore and how we were bring up...we will always protect ourselves first and there will always be a invisible wall that will block & blind us from seeing good things in life. But of cause not all cases will like this and we really can't believe in people to easily. I have been thinking this very hard the whole day till now I can't figure out 人性真的本善吗? 是我太容易相信人还是我错怪好人?...... I guess I will never dare to hop onto anyone's car anymore... what do you think?
