Some purchase some freebies

Shall I start with the Freebies first? Yes I should! First is the vintage dress that I got at Bugis Village one of the weekend with hubby. Got it Free becos I didn't have any cash with me when I was doing the shopping there! hahaha so Hubby brought me the dress! :D

Bugis Street level2 New Section

The dresses that they sell there is very vintage feel at such you may think it looks a little "Aunty". But the 2 dresses that I have gotten it really looks ok when I wear them with some accessories on. So by the look of it's dress in the photo really looks "Aunty" lah but when you wear it...it's ok de... I feel lah. hahaha

The next freebie is the winter collection tote bag & pouch from Lancome, it's those freebies that comes when you purchase an amount the brand. But I got it totally free! Hahaha saw this tote and I think it matches the pins that I got from Bali so I ask my cosmetics manager to help from me to get one of the tote bag. Tata that's how it looks like!

As to what I have purchase? TOO MANY! I shall say about the other dress that I got from the above vintage shop! At first I didn't get this design I got another one home but when I try it at home it's a bit too tied! So no choice I try my luck by going back to the shop the next day during lunch hour to see if the aunt who runs the shop will exchange for me or not. Heng ah! She allow me to do so! So in the end I got this!

I still got purchase 3 more dress but I haven't take a photo of it yet, got them becos they were having sale! Some of them is real cheap lol. I shall blog in my next post bah. I think I can wear some of them to the next wedding dinner in June :D

Promotion~

Yes, received the news from my boss today. Am I happy or not? Well after so much of a hard work last year and expecting more challenge to come this year I think I deserve this. Not trying to talk big, I really feels tired with what I'm doing now but I just keep trying my best in whatever I am doing. Even knowing that there's problems in the department, I am still trying my best to hold on. I know I have been complaining a lot in my blog about my work, sometimes I also feel tired as well. But there must be some channels for me to release my stress right?

When I receive the news I sms my hubby "Promoted this year, shit means more job?" Hubby's reply was "Means you are doing a good job. Tonight I got free dinner?" hahaha Thanks Dear. You make me feel good having the promotion.

Well the increment to the promotion isn't a lot, as many would have know how Japanese company pay is... But at least better than nothing right?

Sometimes I find it unfair, people not putting much effort in their work get their chance for promotion as well. People like us putting extra effort to work sometimes doesn't even get what they deserve. I guess I am consider lucky among some other colleagues, already gotten 3 times promotion within 4 years. I think I might not be that lucky for the next coming more years liao. hahaha I'm getting old lol!!! :P

Meet up with Twin

Well it has been awhile since we last met, actually I didn't really meet up often with friends nowadays, hahaha what's the reason behind? hummm trust me, I have no idea as well. I'll always say it is due to work. Everyday after work I already feel damn tired and refuse to arrange meet ups. But trust me, if you call me or sms to go out for dinner I'll definitely make time for it. So if you are reading this and you have not been meeting me for a long time hahaha pls sms me or call me to arrange. I'll try to arrange time! Recently there's also a few friends that message me asking how's my life hahahaha I think it has really been a long time I haven't touch base with them. Ok sorry I'll try my best to re-adjust my lifestyle. But dear friend pls bare with me as I'll be damn busy this year.

Anyway back to the topic, yup I meet up with twin yesterday night for dinner at Bugis. Finally got the chance to try Porn's, I have been wanting to try this! But the food is so so only, I still prefer other Thai store nearby....suddenly can't remember the name. But they serve the food really fast, it's like within 5 mins!

We had a great time chit chatting, Thanks to twin for listening to my complaints at work. haha also some updates of our life recently. Nice catch up and photo taking session of cos. :D

Crystal's Wedding!

It's finally here! Guess she has been waiting and I am waiting too! haha She is my company's designer and we have been talking about the wedding that we are each planning. hahaha sharing ideas and informations that we have. She is from Hong Kong, so I thought there will be many difference in the wedding dinner that she's gonna have.

We had a good night that day, enjoyed the whole session. It was also very touching when it was their speech time, even their MC were crying down the stage.

We also have a great time catching up with Dawn & Pheobe too it's be a long time we haven't talk too. ^_^

Pray for Japan

Yes please pray for Japan! As many of you would have seen the news reports. This earthquake at Japan has killed so many people, and many of us is also worried how much worst it will be getting. We hope Not going to go worst please!

Really can't imagine at this timing last year, hubby & I was going to Japan too! I imagine how would I react if it's has happened that time. Thank god for saving us from facing this. I guess I would have ask to cancel the trip...but hubby would still want to carry on.

Anyway, hope it's gonna be over soon and never gonna happen again! Please god sorry for any misbehave from human. By the way, Takashimaya is also having a donation drive for Japan. So if you happened to be shopping around, the donation box can be found at Level 1 Main Entrance & Level 1 The Atrium. A little might help. :)

From this I guess we really need to consider for the earth! Let's all do something for saving the earth. Use less electricity, learn to recycle, learn to save water...as much as possible let's just do our part to save the earth. Just a little might also help :)

Freebies! Cat's Bag & Moisture Creme!

I love Freebies! Who doesn't anyway. The first freebies that I have gotten is a full size Estee Lauder Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme from the points that I got as a member of Estee Lauder. I was so surprise that I can get a full size of the Creme, I thought they usually give sample size only. I kinda love it and is using it now.

The next freebie that I just gotten is the Cat's Bag! I got one of the Japan magazine again and it's those that comes with free items as well. And I simply LOVE this one! This bag is so for ME! Just look at the photo of it, just look so cute isn't it? I guess it's going to be my new love for this few months! :D

I'm Back!

Yes I'm back from the break! Guess what? I thought going for a holiday at Bali should be quite relaxing and at the same time to recharge my energy level but in the end I'm damn Shag LOL! Well more updates of the holiday will be done in my other blog, http://bananapapaya.livejournal.com/.

But basically I have a wonderful trip this time round, I guess it's the people that are with us that makes it double the fun. It's been a long time I haven't travel with a group of friends. This time round with Hubby's buddies make it more exciting, these guys are great people. Shouldn't keep saying how good they are hahaha.

Anyway today is also the first day back to work as well as first day of the March. Well hopefully I wouldn't start complaining my work in this blog more and more although I know it is going to happen. haha I hope for better, well the next event for March will be Hubby 30's Birthday! I'm planning what to do to celebrate his birthday but it's kinda tough becos the day before he has a wedding dinner to attend and I'm not joining him. And the actual day of his birthday is on Monday and he can't take leave so we can only have a simple dinner after work. Hope he wouldn't mind the simple plan for his birthday.

And the next coming up will be Crystal's wedding! Can't wait for that day to come as I have been hearing from her how was her relative's wedding style was...haha I think it's gonna be another KTV wedding again....hehehe
